Parish Resources

We offer a wide range of resources to help parishes encourage people to make and review Wills, and consider leaving a gift to the Church in their Will.

The boxes on the left provide a range of magazine articles of varying length, a sermon outline and also an outline liturgy for a "Goodwill" Sunday.

On this site, we also offer materials for PCCs to review their approach to legacies, and encourage them to develop a policy for how they will use money received from legacy gifts.

One piece of good practice which we would commend is for a PCC to appoint a Parish Giving Officer who can encourage all aspects of stewardship and giving in the parish or benefice. This will include legacy giving. To find out more about this role and how it can make a major contribution to resourcing the mission and ministry of the Church, please see our sister site www.parishresources.org.uk
